Lil Marc

Lil Marc Lil Marc (Marc Campbell) was a rapper from Chicago's South Side as well as a gang member from 051 Young Money, a Mickey Cobra set. He was gunned down on Friday March 28, 2014 while waiting at a bus stop and died as a result of his injuries.

Lil Marc was part the drill movement, a hip hop sub-genre which details the daily life of Chicago's criminals. Rappers of that genre are often gang members, and commonly attack their rivals in songs. One of Lil Marc's most popular song is "Zeko World" which pays homage to Isaiah Zeko Walker, a fellow gang member whom was killed. In his song Zeko World, one of the rappers in the song dissed a rival gang member name 'Billionaire Black', a Gangster Disciple from Welch World.

Lil Marc's Death

On Saturday March 28, 2014, while waiting at a bus stop, Lil Marc was shot in the head and died. Many believe that Lil Marc's death was a result of the gang violence that's been plaguing Chicago. Days before getting shot, Lil Marc released a music video on youtube titled 'Competition', in which he dissed numerous rival gangs, as well as dead gang members. Lil Marc was related to Shondale 'Tooka' Gregory, whom coincidentally was killed in 2011 while waiting for a bus.

Lil Marc was 20 years old at the time of the shooting, and was expecting a son from his girlfriend.

Who Killed Lil Marc

Though Lil Marc's killer was never apprehended, it is speculated that it was 46 Terror, a THF set.
