Fazon Robinson was a member of NLMB gang in Chicago, he was gunned down on April 12, 2010 in what authority believe was a gang related incident. Following his death the area his gang operates adopted the nickname 'Fazo Land' in his honor. A few years after his passing, rappers from his gangs started becoming popular such as Lil Herb and Lil Bibby, and they normally include Fazo Land in their songs in his honor. Lil Herb also had a mixtape titled 'Welcome to Fazoland'.
On April 12, 2012 friends and family gathered to honor Fazon's passing in the location he was murdered, but the peaceful gathering soon turned deadly as a car slowed down and started shooting the crowd. When the shooting was done, a total of 5 individuals were shot including a 10 year old boy. Authority believe this shooting was in connection with Fazon's shooting.
