Sheroid Liggins was a member of the Black Disciples gang from 064 Wic City in Chicago. He died on February 20, 2012, from a gunshot wound sustained to the head on February 20, 2012. Sheroid Liggins was shot as he was leaving a store in the 6400 block of South King Drive. His body was discovered in the streets by authorities and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition; he died a few days later at 19 years old.
As drill music started becoming more popular, Sheroid Liggins is sometimes mentioned in rap videos of fellow Black Disciple rappers, and in videos, some BD members can be seen wearing shirts saying 'RIP Sheroid'. In Lil Durk's '52 Bars (Part 4)' song, Durk says "Askin' why they took Sheroid - Gave an inch they took a yard, Ruler on my hip."
Who Killed Sheroid Liggins?
Though Sheroid Liggins' killer was never apprehended, many have speculated he was murdered by Rodney "Boss Trell" Stewart, a Gangster Disciples gang member. Boss Trell himself was murdered later that same year(2012).
