Bo Deal

Bo Deal, originally named Billy Deal, hails from the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois. As a prominent figure in the Drill music scene, he has been instrumental in its rising fame, alongside notable artists like Chief Keef, who gained recognition with his hit ‘I Don’t Like’. Bo Deal is also known for his association with the Mafia Insane Vice Lords, a faction of the broader Vice Lords gang in Chicago.

He has a prolific discography, having released several mixtapes such as “Good Side, Bad Side”, “Chicago Code: Gang Related”, “Revelations”, “Chicago Code 2”, and “Chicago Code: Revelations”, among others.

Bo Deal's musical journey is marked by his connection to Waka Flocka’s label, ‘Brick Squad Monopoly’. Although not officially signed, he maintains complete ownership of his work, a rare feat in the industry. His entrepreneurial spirit shines through with the establishment of his own label, “Ground Up Productions”. This label boasts a diverse roster including talents like Mac Mecca, BFN, Mellow G Blanc, Eddie Low, Vi Lord, Ghetto Tone, Lil One, C-Lo, Paper Boy, and Capone. The sound of Bo Deal is shaped by his producers, 2K Beats, a dynamic duo consisting of A-Wall and Cisero.

Bo Deal's passion for rap emerged during his time in prison. While initially just a pastime to pass the time, his talent caught the attention of fellow inmates and security staff, who, despite their aversion to rap, recognized his potential. Encouraged by this feedback, he participated in a prison talent show with his cousin A-Wall. Upon his release, Bo Deal pursued a career in music, creating the video “Ghetto Passes”, which caught the eye of BET. This led to his participation in BET's 106 & Park Freestyle Friday, where he showcased his lyrical prowess, reigning victorious for a month straight.
