DOC (EBT)

Doc, originally named Marlon Monroe, was an influential figure within the Gangster Disciples, specifically associated with the EBT set. His life was tragically cut short on April 28, 2012.

Doc's Tragic Demise

On that fateful day, Doc was en route to a nearby convenience store to purchase a drink when he was unexpectedly attacked by gunfire. Struggling from his injuries, he collapsed into the surrounding brush. The police arrived at the scene to investigate but, unfortunately, overlooked Doc's body. It was only hours later that a 16-year-old family member, using a shortcut, discovered Doc's remains.

Doc's Legacy in Hip Hop

Doc's story has been immortalized in the world of hip hop. In the track "High Y" by Money Man featuring Ro Ro, there's a poignant reference: "When I pull up on EBT, leave a n*gga like Doc." Money Man, himself associated with TYMB, uses this line to evoke the memory of Doc, highlighting his lasting impact on the community and music scene.
