Dee Hood, an emerging rapper from Hunts Point in the Bronx, NY, has been making waves in the hip-hop scene. He is a prominent member of the group "Real Live N*ggas," which features other New York talents like Mizzy Shoota and Bhris Dizzon. Additionally, Dee Hood is linked with the Grimey Gang, a well-known collective in New York City. Like many artists, his journey hasn't been without its challenges; he served 16 months in jail for criminal use of a firearm. However, Dee Hood's passion for music began in 2006, with his first remix being the classic 'Shook Ones' by Mobb Deep. Influenced by legends such as 50 Cent, DMX, NWA, Uncle Murda, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, and Notorious B.I.G., Dee Hood is now channeling his experiences into his upcoming mixtape "Boy From The Hood," set for release later in 2016.
