Krazy Getdown Boyz

The Almighty Krazy Getdown Boys (KGB) emerged in the late 1980s within the Marquette Park region of Chicago, Illinois. Initially, KGB was not a criminal gang but rather a vibrant party crew. They were unaffiliated with either the People Nation or the Folks Nation alliances. However, by 1992, circumstances changed as the group found itself embroiled in conflicts with various people gangs, including the Satan Disciples and Insane Guess Boys. That year marked a turning point when KGB partnered with the Ambrose street gang, which suggested aligning with the Folks Nation.

Joining the Folks Nation under Ambrose's guidance, KGB evolved into one of Chicago's formidable gangs, expanding their influence throughout Marquette Park and into suburban areas. Leadership changes marked their history, with the original leader, Hitman G, falling to rival violence and Lil Siegel stepping in, only to later be incarcerated. Leadership then transitioned to Chief G. The gang continues to operate primarily from Marquette Park in Chicago.

Krazy Getdown Boys face opposition from gangs such as the Satan Disciples and certain Folks Nation groups like Two Six and La Raza. They also maintain fierce rivalries with numerous People Nation gangs, including the Latin Kings, Saints, and Party Players.
