Portrait, more widely recognized by his stage name "Offbak King Valid," is an emerging Drill rapper originating from Florida. Despite his Southern roots, he is closely connected with the Chicago Drill scene as a member of Killaward "078." Recently, he collaborated with Chicago Drill artist Jodi Dinero of FYB on a "Faneto remix." Portrait is affiliated with both KTS in Chicago and VGF in Framingham, which contributes to his moniker Offbak King Valid. While he has released several tracks, he is yet to drop an official mixtape; however, an EP is anticipated soon. Portrait draws inspiration from prominent figures in the Drill scene such as Kutthroat Von, FBG Duck, Lil Mister, Lil Jay, Lil Marc, and King Yella. This altercation escalated to a confrontation in Boston, leading Jeszar to involve the authorities in an attempt to have Portrait arrested.
VGF (VALID GANG FRATERNITY) AFFILIATION
Through his musical journey, Portrait has forged connections with various artists, including rapper "Niko Valid." The two developed a friendship, leading to Portrait's invitation to join the Valid Gang. After Niko consulted with other members, Portrait officially became part of the group, thus adopting the title "King Valid."
