Yung Gleesh (Asa Asuncion) was born on November 21, 1989. He is a rapper originating from the vibrant neighborhood of 18th and Monroe on the Northeast side of Washington D.C. His formative years were marked by frequent relocations due to his father's military service overseas. Inspired by the groundbreaking work of Gucci Mane, Gleesh ventured into the world of rap, developing a style often likened to that of Lil B. Yung Gleesh Charged With Sexual Assault
In a troubling incident, Austin Police reported that Yung Gleesh was in Austin, Texas, for a performance when he allegedly committed sexual assault. On March 20, 2015, at a friend's residence, Gleesh reportedly assaulted a woman who was staying there. According to a friend's account, upon entering the home, they found Gleesh and the victim partially undressed. An altercation followed, leading to Gleesh's departure and the victim's subsequent hospitalization. Days later, Gleesh surrendered to the authorities and was subsequently released on bail.
