Raised in Enfield, North Carolina, he embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of 10. Although he resides in North Carolina, Zae $avage is an integral part of the Drill Movement, heavily influenced by the Chicago rap scene due to the parallels in violence with his hometown of Enfield.
He initiated a rap group during his middle school years, which underwent several transformations before settling on the name U$A—United $avage Association. This group includes some of his cousins and friends from Scotland Neck, North Carolina. Each member is diligently pursuing their solo careers, with plans to release a collaborative mixtape in the near future.
Zae $avage showcases his talent through music videos on YouTube, often featuring his Drill partner Tae $avage. This dynamic duo, known as the $kinny Drillaz since late 2013, has been consistently releasing tracks. Zae $avage frequently collaborates with fellow artists such as Jack, Gudda, and Squizzy Too, who hail from the Grove, a place he regularly frequents.
